Waylon Jennings,died Wednesday (February 12, 2002) at his Arizona home.
Jennings died peacefully in his sleep. Jennings had been battling diabetes and had to have part of his foot amputated because of the disease last year.
He was 64 years old.

Boots Randolph, died this afternoon ( July 3,2007 )after suffering a subdural hematoma last week at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Randolph suffered a cerebral hemorrhage June 25, 2007 and had been in a coma. He was taken off a respirator earlier Tuesday, said Betty Hofer, a publicist and spokeswoman for the family. He was 80 years old.

'Man in Black' Johnny Cash dead at 71
Johnny Cash, died early Friday morning (September 12, 2003) in a Nashville hospital. Cash died of complications from diabetes that resulted in respiratory failure, Baptist Hospital in Nashville. Cash died at the hospital at 3 a.m. EDT. He was 71 years old.

Country entertainer Jerry Reed died Monday, Sept.1,2008 in Nashville after a long illness.
71-year-old singer was under hospice care and had suffered from emphysema for several years.
A private funeral was held in Nashville on Wednesday. Reed is survived by his wife Priscilla and two daughters.

Country Star Buck Owens Dead at 76
Singer Buck Owens, the flashy rhinestone cowboy who shaped the sound of country music with hits like "Act Naturally" and brought the genre to TV on the long-running "Hee Haw," died Saturday,March 25,2006. He was 76.
Owens died at his home, said family spokesman Jim Shaw. The cause of death was not immediately known. Owens had undergone throat cancer surgery in 1993 and was hospitalized with pneumonia in 1997.
